Pay wise it's really hard to replace Adsense,i was banned for no reason as well.

Its a good list except for Clicksor, that is a horrible ad network, they have been malware problems going back a decade that they haven't fixed.

I'm also in the same boat. Looking for alternatives.

By now I've tried content.ad, but I'm not satisfied with the results. Maybe it's about the niche - mine is politics. Any ideas?

Quick question. Can I use one of these ad network along with Adsense?

If you are getting huge traffic to your site. You may try Revenue Hits. and you can enable Pop Up like ad unit that helps making money

any network will be good as long as its big and has a lot of advertisers
some networks even re-sell adsense, so its good to use them as a fill without risk getting abnned
focus on quality of your traffic and any network will pay you good
