BermanHosting WTF?

    Yesterday I purchased the $15 package "VPS Pro". I payed through a credit card and 20 minutes later I receive my server details and login credentials. As soon as I remote desktop the vps, It shuts down. I contact the live support asking them why the server is offline he tells me.
    "your transaction may be seen as fraud". I start asking him why is it seen as fraud, I never get a good reply. He tells me to wait a couple of hours. The next day I receive an I email saying that my transaction is fraud and that that they want to know my Identity and a picture of my card and ID.
    What the fuck do these guys want? They want me to give them a picture of my ID and card to some unknown, non trusted website which will probably misuse.

    What am I suppose to do now? I can't refund too.

    You may not get any money back.

    It has been two weeks since the rejected my order, but I am yet to get a refund. I will wait for a few days more and then try a chargeback.

    probably they got an maxMind alert on their email, saying about a bad reputation IP
    Happens to us often but we risk it and accept the transaction just to avoid posts like this

    Just be patient. I have been with these guys for over a year with no probs. I have no doubt that they are faced with numerous fraudulent transactions on a weekly basis and they are just doing their due diligence. Give them your details and cooperate. This will be the only way you will get your money back.
