Hi any of you guys using Bermanhosting VPS, is their server down? or its just me.

is it down again,cant seem to access my remote access from tomorrow?There support is shitty as usual no reply yet & its close to 36 hours now!

Yeah same here. I have 2 VPSes with them, one is US-based, the other in Europe. The one in Europe works, the one in the US is down. So I guess it's their US nodes that are down, or it's datacenter maintenance, or Berman themselves do any type of work. Either way, they rarely care to explain what's going on.

I might add: good service while it runs, pretty crappy when there's trouble. In my experience though, they've come always back up.

I had 48 shut downs with Berman over the course of 6 months. That's an average of 2 a week. Their service is not bad for first timers or newbies, but afaic they are fairly unstable and they are also resellers of OVH.

If you go with OVH you can get a dedicated server for only $50 / month. You get waaaay more bang for your buck.

Always had good service from Berman. I have two extreme accounts with them and they run faultlessly.

I do keep my CPU usage to no more than 80% (Works out at 1500 open GSA threads per install) and don't use stuff like GSA Indexer. (Lindexed and Linkilicious are more than enough for rapid indexing anyway)

Have you sent a support ticket to Berman? They normally reply pretty quick. (24 hours or so)

Actually you know what, ur right webmasterbd!!!

I ordered a new VPS 3 days ago, so far nothing! Sent a a ticket yesterday and heard no reply.

Not sure whether to get another VPS (I kinda need the additional power right now) and cancel it or just wait out the setup.

Ughh, I hate it went companies can't be arsed to give reasonably quick service.
