Didn't Green Goblin say rule number 1 "do not handle the goods. Drop ship them" So you broke the rules took a massive gamble on importimng replicas and now will face the consequences. I guess it was great al lthe time you got away with it. But it was built on quicksand.

#1 - Do the smart thing and dont post anything on the internet now. If you are taken to court, I'm 100% sure they will be bringing your internet activity into the case. You are leaving a trail of evidence in this thread.

Selling Replicas is common business in Pakistan, Indian and china. Also in most of the countries here. If someone say here something like that then the first thing which people will do is laugh out loud.
But your situation is a bit serious, I do not have suggestion for you as I donot know what kind of laws your country have.

Agreed. Flee the country pretty much no matter what if its a possibility for you. The judge will NOT go easy on you due to the state of the economy right now. They will claim that replica sellers are taking jobs away from Americans and shipping them oversees and bankrupting companies. Doing replica business in the USA is crazy talk. There is no grey area. You either gotta pay, do jail time, or find a deal you can cut for giving them information on a bigger fish you can rat on if you know others operating in the usa.

Interesting, I also have had a delivery seized at Heathrow airport 2 weeks ago ,go a letter from a solicitors for 1 of the products i was selling asking for information about my suppliers nothing about any legal action think i will quit now while im ahead, good luck bro.
 
yeah def get a lawyer . kinda funny freaking wall street and the banks over price houses did dirty rotten s h t but non of they get brought up on charges !
my neighbor answered his door a few months back to find out he was getting sued for 35 mil for downloading porn ! my ex got a class 2 felony for indirectly calling a broad a b it c h .. this country is so screwed up! :eek:

Replica selling is very risky both legally and financially. Even if you DO drop ship, read step 1. they seized the items which means the customer never got it. Which means you paid money for an item that was never sent. Or more importantly a CUSTOMER paid money.

How long before a customer starts posting your biz info everywhere if they dont get the items? Hell, even if it DOES come late they may STILL post your info, nothing like a pissed off customer to put you on blast.

My advice? Dont do it, get a biz license and get legit stuff from the factory. Because you are an independent you can STILL offer a good deal due to low overhead. Be smart.
 
Man some of you guys are brutal. Things happen. Any time you cross legal boundaries in order to make more money, you will eventually run into consequences. It's always good to have an exit strategy and never get too comfortable. If you've been doing 20k+ profits a month for a while now, I'd have left the country yesterday.
