Malaysia is the ugliest country, both the country and its people. Everywhere you go nobody has any fashion sense and most of them have really ugly faces. (except for teenagers that stroll the malls, those can be pretty cute).
Now about Kuala Lumpur, it's the worst city to live in, besides the massive amount of unnecessary shopping malls, there's nothing to be proud of really. Congestion, unplanned roadway, public transportation that sucks.
Everything import in Malaysia will cost you 30% more and the only thing that is cheap here is food, which will give you diarrhea anyways if you don't know where to look.
Any food you buy in KL has the tendency to be exposed to the heavy smoke due to congestion. People are not nice here, crime rate is sky high. If you ever come to this god-forsaken country, please make sure you know where you at, don't go around with your DSLR like nobody knows how expensive that shyt is (1 month salary around here).
In some sketchy malls, you can get beat up for "just looking" so obviously you can't see ALL of the city.
Oh yeah, and if you happen to be a muslim, think twice before you consume alcoholic beverage at a bar, the penalty for that is public canning and penalty for drug possession is DEATH by hanging.
Still wanna come?
Clade is 100% correct.
I have visited malaysia and it sucks in every conceivable way.
You have posted some photos of girls living in Malaysia. You would have to be stupid to claim that there are no hot girls in Malaysia - obviously there are some hot girls anywhere in the world.
However, after being in Thailand in Vietnam where you see some real eye candy every 5 minutes, Kuala Lumpur was without a doubt an ugly city. All the girls were fat, wore head-scarfs and had greasy, spotty faces. They never smiled.
The city of KL is worse still. There is no nightlife apart from a couple of expensive nightclubs dotted around here and there. You walk around, just looking for a place to have a few drinks, and find nothing whatsoever. The city is like a desert. It smells, and there are vast expanses of road where you walk, hoping to find something of interest, even a restaurant, and find nothing. All you see is shopping malls selling christian louboutin style stuff, and conference centers.
Now I will be fair here - if you dig far beneath the surface, anywhere in the world, you will find something cool. However, the simple fact is that there are plenty of places (Thailand, Vietnam etc) where you don't have to do any digging, it's all there for you no matter where you are.
My sincere advice - steer clear of malaysia unless you want some big name designer brands at inflated prices, have a thing for fat spotty women with headscarves, or have a business conference to attend.
Harsh but honest.
