being diplomatic with am?

if you intend on sending bh traffic to the networks, should you forewarn your AM?

I'm tempted to just blank the referrer, tell them im doing something like flyers offline (or some other story) and then roll with it.

It totally depends on your am (more specifically, the affiliate company). Some tolerate BH, others positively encourage it, others will ban you without warning. Find out about the stance your affiliate program takes and then ask your manager his thoughts before doing anything. That's my advice, anyway!

I run a small price comparison website , the retailer whose products I was selling does not allow price comparison websites to send traffic to them (strange) , so i just created another blog where i would review products (spinned reviews ) and would place the affiliate link in bottom .This blog is just a decoy .

Then I would stuff the url of that blog into the referrer from my original website . Its quite time consuming but worth it .

You could do the same .

I agree with Dr Acula. Find out what is the policy of the particular company for the particular tactics you want to use, then let that knowledge inform your decisions.
