But considering the statistics, 10% of the population is gay, more women than men at higher ages means approx 4% male homosexuals, a very small number compared to the 45% of all males. Of these 4%, 70% would probably never pay for a cam show.
On the other hand african sex safaris are pretty popular with Dutch women so it may actually turn out that there is a dormant market for straight male cam models.

The flip side is that gays spend much more on adult entertainment than straight men do (as do "straight" men who are into transsexuals). The "pink dollar" is disproportionately valuable in the adult market.

I would consider it but I want to know if anyone knows if customers can actually record or download the webcam performances? Also I know the site keeps an archive of the performances for Video on Demand...I want to know lets say I leave the job could I request those deleted. My only concern is they pop up online sometime in the future at the wrong timing, let's say I have a family or something...anyone knows about this?

yeah i second this, alot of the customers will be gay guys, or twinks or whatever its called. you won't get very many females.Unfortunately I suspect that most webcam customers will want to see a little more than just jerking off.

I found this thread when looking to see how much I could make as a webcam model,lol. Im going to start in a few weeks,and I'll report back with how much I make doing it.
From what I noticed from researching it some, if you get in shape,shave,and get a nice tan(not jersey shore orange shit) and are interactive you could probably do better then most guys on there. It wouldn't hurt to wear a lil makeup,not drag queen like,but how male actors and tv anchors wear it.
