Beginnersquestions/help needed

Hey all,

I came across this site by chance a few days ago and since then i've bin hooked (reading a couple of articles each day). I have a few ideas (which if successfull i will share with the BHW community). However i Just need some starting up advise/help.

I have been accepted into a few affiliate programs (i emailed them telling them what i planned to do). However as i do not have a website/blog i am unable to receive my affiliate links/banners. I have no money (i am a very poor university student at the moment) so could anyone recommend a free way to set up a blog or site etc to solve this problem? also as i intend to do email marketing (for now - just to build up some income) once i have a site/blog up do i need to do anything to it (post etc) or can i just ignore it. When i signed up to commision junction i did so without a website and it has become clear that i am unable to receive the links banners without one.

Just one more quick question, why do we need to cloak our affiliate links. If the person knows what hes getting himself into (rather than being tricked) surely theres no need to cloak?

Apoor University student ??? From where ??? It takes about 20-50 USD to have a site and up and running if u know the technical,stuff.

You can receive CJ links/banners without a website, I do it all the time. Just click 'add website' and type in "Newsletter" and "http://.com" as your valid url. Then select the links you want, and click "email html" -> "perform action". The html will be emailed to you.

As far as a free website, there are a shitload of places offering free hosting and such. You need to be more specific. Are you looking for a website or blog or forum? What for, adsense? landing pages? CPA?

Why dont you try the associated content method on here (article writing).?
I'm sure you could knock some articles up and within a month have a good bankroll to go and do other stuff.
Im sure you could find plenty of other skint students to farm the work out to at a low rate and make some money off them as well.
There are loads of ideas here that rquire NO money whatsoever, just time and effort

Email marketing is pretty hard, especially if you are completely new with no capital. You should give bum marketing a try, or like scoots recommend AC, save some money, and then buy a good program or CS script.
