Hi Everyone. Hope y'all good. I am new to this forum and to the traffic, even though have read a lot about everything, I did not generate a single lead yet =)

Please advice from what shall I start, I have a good course to learn, what i am doing now, however it concerns mostly the FB ads. The main goal is expected to be the blackhat side, however I believe that should start from whitehat to better learn the targeting. Thanks, wish you good day!

P.S Another issue I met is understanding the difference between Aff Marketing and Targeting. As far as I got it, targeting is part of aff marketing, is it correct?

By the way, going to Aff Conference in Dubai next year, would enjoy of meeting there any of you.

affiliate marketing means promoting other people's / companies' services or products and getting a commission whenever those products / services get sold through your links (you get your own unique links when you sign up the affiliate program of the people / companies whose products / services you wish to promote).

Targeting means exactly that: targeting. If you make a website that talks about dog food it means you are targeting the pets / dogs niche, if you promote and sell a math course to students it means that you are targeting students, and so on. The word targeting is so self-explanatory that I don't understand how you don't know what it means

I won't be going to Dubai, but I advise you not to go, either. You might be filthy rich and a trip to Dubai might mean peanuts for you, but there's very little you can learn from such a conference as a newbie that you can't find for free on the internet (even this forum I dare say has more valuable info than you might learn from that conference).. The point I'm trying to make that you'd be better off investing that money into setting up a website and creating content for keywords that need to backlinks to rank. That's what I would spend it on, but... it's your call in the end. I only give you honest advice

Thanks my friend for the advice and explanations, still surfing the forum, however such huge amount of topics creates a bit mess in my head lol. Even though indeed all of them are pretty interesting

I feel you. I've had the same struggles as you years ago when I started with SEO, but I got used to it eventually. And if you're in this to make money you need to know all this stuff
