    Hey guys,

    I'm new on the forum.

I've just learnt about PBNS and WEB2.0 links. So please bear with my dumb questions.

    Here's my question :
I have 4 quality websites with blogs. They pretty much all have links pointing to the others as their content is related.
1- Is this considered black for google ? Is it somewhat a "PBN" ?

I have also created a couple of web2.0 with legit content (1 or 2 pages each).
It is in the intent of creating links so I guess it's very greyish SEO.
2- Should I use a VPN when creating those ?
3- Should I plug those Web2.0 to webmaster tools and if so, should I use a vpn and multiple gmail accounts ?

And finally : When building links, I try to have a good ratio of follow and no follow, good anchor text ratio and I use mostly guest posting (I don't pay for links yet), commenting and quality directories.
4- Is there anything else I should use ?
5- Is it worth it buying links from high PR site if they are not in my language (I'm french) ?
6- How safe or unsafe it is to buy links from trusted sources ?

I get that SEO in essence is not entirely white but I'm trying to be very clean and safe while still allowing some grey hat seo here and there.

    Many thanks.

    1) Yes. Google wants your money. Anything that isn't making them a profit is "black hat".

    2) You need to cover your tracks or Google will destroy your site.

    3) Never touch anything made by Google when building links.

    4) Brains?

    5) Yes for domain authority. No for topical authority.

    6) Generally unsafe. If you're not paying Google they consider it black hat and can ruin your site for no reason. They're a monopoly in search, they can do anything they please.
    • Thanks Thanks x 1

Many thanks Barto for all those replies.
    1. Does it mean that I should remove the links ? As I said, the links add value and they are related. It just happen that I like many different topics.
Also, it's a matter of 10 to 15 links tops.
    6. Does it mean I should never ever buy links at all ?

I understand google does not like optimisation. Yet everyone does SEO and on page optimisation.
I have troubles understanding the limit between "google doesn't like it but you'll likely never get scrwed" and "This is completely black hat, you'll get scrwed for sure".
For example, I have never heard of anyone getting hit by penalties with 10 blog comment links.

Could you please also help me with this ?
