I have been reading around on this site for a while and was recently looking at crypto. Can anyone here point me to some resources to get me started before I invest in anything? Maybe some youtubers or something

Crypto is a hard one to get into just because it's still so new and people are still trying to figure a lot of it out. There aren't really any goto resources for it (none that I know of at least). You're mostly going to be looking at forums, reddit, etc. Steemit.com is a great site where you can start earning some crypto by doing familiar things and they have a lot of crypto content on there. Good luck and welcome to BHW.

Thank you! I have checked out steemit actually, There seems to be alot of mixed thoughts about it but I would still look into it. I was thinking of putting some of my cash into something so I thought I should do some deep research first.

Steemit is cool because you can earn Crypto with no financial investment, and it'll let you practice some things like using an exchange to convert it into another currency and transfer it to another wallet somewhere. That's all stuff you'll eventually need to learn to work with Cryptos, so it's kind of a nice, easy-to-use sandbox to test the waters a bit.

Go to udemy or youtube and search for video tutorial and courses.

Use cryptocoinsnews.com and coindesk.com, then visit each cion's individual website and look at their dev teams. Also check out Charlie and Vitalik's twitters.

I invested nearly 90$ and made few first transaction gone well. But choosed wrong coin it goes down. Have to wait for weeks to get back. In mean time, i try to predict according to the graph. Got $30 in three days with that $90. I learned a lot. Could make a thread for beginner here maybe another week, cuz going through typhoid feeling low. I wish i could invest $1000 :(

I bought my first crypto 2.5 years ago and held on to it for a year and suddenly it rose one day and I found myself with a good investment on my hands and thats when I dove knee deep into crypto. The first thing to learn is how the technology and the blockchain work. Go to youtube and watch videos of people explain it in laymen terms. Wallets, mining, altcoins, the whole works Then when your ready buy some BTC or ETH, either through an exchange or through localbitcoins.com. Then the rest is up to you.

I started with just reading everything you can read on coinmarketcap and follow Bitpam on twitter, he knows his stuff

check out "ozzy the BS filter" on youtube.
I`m a beginner and I find him very helpful.

Dash crypto currency, there is an official channel, there is a lot of useful information, especially for beginners.
