A lot of SEO methods utilize WordPress, articles, and blogs. I'm assuming this is because it's very fast to set up a template and very easy to add information. It's more efficient to use a previously designed engine than it is to start from scratch. However, I'm not interested in creating domains only featuring blog content. I want to design a resourceful, innovative website, that incidentally makes me money. I know it'd take more time, but aside from increased labor, are there any drawbacks to doing a traditional website? Why blogs / articles? I'm thinking keywords, backlinks, ad revenue, etc. would all work the same, right?
You can use wordpress also as an simple CMS and let the site look traditional or if you a phpguy use backpress(backbone of wordpress) as start or some other kind of php framework. There is a fairy of "Google loves Blogs" , but you can reproduce this love also with a traditional site, because it has only to do with the art of internal linking-structure that blogs have out of the box. Yes hope it helps
