Beginner in the IM world

Hey everybody, I joined this forum to be surrounded by like-minded individuals that I can communicate with in order to progress in my journey of IM. I am basically a beginner in the whole world of IM and making money online, with the exception of building a pretty decent website on Shopify for a drop shipping product a year and a half ago. I have been reading through this forum and have found many great ideas, almost so many that I am overwhelmed and not sure which to start with. I do understand though that actions needs to be taken and just trying things and seeing how i like it/if they work is going to be much more beneficial than trying to find the “perfect” method or trying to perfect something before even actually doing it.

I have a capital of around 1.5k to start with, and I prefer things like website building/content creation. If anybody has suggestions of ways on the simpler side to start making my first $ online, let me know!

Welcome, sounds like you already know what to do, nice! Just dont answer DMs about how you can invest your $. Like you said, research and then when you like an idea, try it out in small amount first. Then those tests pay off on the big project, you can do it!

Hi, welcome to BHW. Nice to meet you! Please learn something first that attracts you most. Then start implementing your learning into a real life business slowly. If you get small success, then scale up. Thanks!

You could try building websites with that kind of money. And you can learn how to do so SEO wise here!

Invest in a niche blog and monetize through affiliate marketing and ads steady and beginner-friendly!
 
It’s awesome that you’re getting into internet marketing. With your experience in Shopify and website building, you could start by offering freelance web design or content creation services, or even launch a niche blog. Your $1.5k capital could help you test ads or invest in tools to boost your growth. The key is taking action and learning as you go. Wishing you success on your journey!

Definitely going to learn how to do SEO! By building websites you are talking about actual website development through something like java script or python correct? I have looked into this and seems very interesting and something that would fit my skills and interests, the only part that could be an issue for me is staying consistent because for myself I believe it will definitely take around 9-10 months to become competent enough to start reaching out to businesses and inquiring about building/working on a site for them.
