Uptill now, I’ve limited myself to spot trading, basically just buying, holding and selling assets. But recently, I decided to branch out and try futures trading. Now, I’ve heard so many stories of traders and their experiences trading futures. I didn’t think too much of it and went ahead to start a trade after just a few weeks of learning. Let’s just say my overconfidence in my half-baked skills almost cost me a fortune(at least to me). If you’re just starting out, don’t be in a haste to start trading. Take your time and learn, and from a reputable force (a private tutor if you can afford it). But if you believe you’ve spent enough time learning, at least for your first trade choose a platform with subsidy event for newcomers, they’llalways be at least one. Start with a small amount and don’t be too overzealous. A lot of money can be made using futures and a lot can also be lost if you don’t plan right.
