CB is stealing from us right?

I have been promoting a CB product on a website of mine for three weeks, and the first week I made real good sales because my website gets a lot of traffic and the CB product is very relevant to the website.

The second week sales dropped 50%

last week I had 0 sales.

C'mon, what gives?!

Ofc they do.

There could not possibly be ANY reason for their tracking system to be 4 hours - 4 days 'delayed'.

There is no such thing as non-instant tracking.

So, what's a good alternative to CB? Who out there won't steal from us? Shoot, even G is stealing from me on my adsense clicks

Did you checked the product ? It's landing page ? Maybe the problem is there and that's why sales have dropped instantly. Also are u getting the same amount of clicks on the aff link ?

I have the product embedded in the pages of my website with an iframe using my link. The product is there and working, I have a high hop count because the product is displayed with every visit to my website.

Not saying that CB doesn't steal, but I doubt it would make long term sense for them to do so. More than likely you are just experiencing random fluctuations in your sales. Selling products that convert 1-2% on the sales page will create massive swings in your weekly numbers, unless you are driving massive traffic to the sales page.

CB doesn't steal, I don't know why people keep thinking they steal.

Try promoting a membership site instead if you are so worried.

I used to run a membership dating site in the past and I used to create user accounts manually by hand within 24 hours whenever someone joined using clickbank to pay.

I did this as to see if clickbank would steal, I did this for 3 years and I got credited for ever single sale!

Clickbank isn't stealing at all, maybe it's the vendor stealing? Maybe the vendor is sending emails that contain hardcoded order links so they themselves make money instead of you the affiliate?

Don't put the blame on clickbank I know for a fact they don't steal, a friend of mine actually visited their office and there's nothing unethical about clickbank.

If clickbank would steal from me for instance and I'd get an email from a customer that never bought and the customer proved that he she actually paid then I'd go crazy on forums letting people know about clickbank. If that was the case clickbank would be out of business in 6 months tops.

It would be stupid of them to steal from affilaites and vendors.

Yeah, nothing wrong with 4 days of "delayed tracking" hahaha.

Happenes all the time with neverblue/maxbounty/peerfly etc, "sorry guys tracking statistics delayed by 3 - 4 days" .........

Be real..

there are dozens of potential reasons why your sales could fluctuate from one week to the next.

ignoring all of these reasons and concluding that CB must be stealing from you does nothing but give you the illusion that you're not responsible for your own failures.

Well, if I don't see the sales get back up to when I first started then there has to be something fishy. It's just weird how it did so well then just dropped off.

The product I'm promoting is very niche and I just started putting it on my website almost 4 weeks ago.

I'm nailing it in search for all the right keywords that bring me tons of targeted traffic...

All I'm saying it's strange to me how it did so well and dropped off so suddenly...

hmmm sudden drop in sales....

Then it's very likely that clickbank is having technical difficulties with that vendors account only, so what has to be done is you contact the vendor and vendor in turn calls clickbank and clickbank fixes the issue fast.

If it's a sudden drop as in many sales to no sales then this is the problem, it's something thats been going on for the past 3 weeks only, been hearing about it on other forums too.

Yeah I would say that it is the vendor who is stealing if anyone.

But have never read the small print of the CB affiliate agreement. Maybe they say there that they will rob you of sales, lol.

Or it could be the vendor's fault (like this goof http://www.mysolarplans.com/free-video.php who forgot to put the button on his page). He tells people to click the orange button below the video but there is no orange button, lol. I sent 1000 clicks to him and I was suspicious as I din't get any sales :zx11pisse

I was a major World of Warcraft affiliate for a couple guides being sold through CB a couple years ago and was probably the first person to advertise guides and stuff through the actual game (instead of selling gold and hacking tools). My conclusion is that CB is full of crap. I had a feeling when I would go from a $2,000 week to a $0 week, and CB would give me the run around. I got a hold of the two vendors I was promoting and said "Hey, I think CB is screwing us both over" and one of the guys allowed me to pay him a base rate each week to distribute the guide, and I directed the customer to pay me with their PayPal account or their Credit Card. Guess what? I made more money, and the payments were very consistent.

Yeah, I'm thinking of contacting the vendor directly myself to see what's up.

I as well think they have been trimming some sales but it would be difficult to prove such a thing.

Instead of blaming people for your lack of success maybe you should work harder, I have made a lot of money with CB and they are legit. Use adwords tracking or something else where you can track all of your traffic all the way through (ANY big publisher has this option, usually right on their affiliate page you can track traffic from your site all the way through to see if it converts or not) so you can see for yourself.

OR.... you can sit around saying that someone's scamming you and whining instead of working because you can't crack it.

The link appeared at approx. 4:10 or so into the video for me. But yeah it is stupid, buyers should always have the option to click next whenever they please and not after 4 minutes of annoying nagging.

The link leads to more hidden stuff btw :)

Any-hoo, I sent a message to CB to see if they can tell me anything. I will keep you all posted to what happens. Thanks for all the good advice all :)

It actually does, so apologies to that guy. :o But the thing is that it doesn't appear if you try and skip parts of the video by sliding the player bar forward, which is what people do sometimes if the video is stuck and wont play :/
