Become admin - facebook groups

New facebook FAQ:

To avoid group takeovers and prevent abuse, we no longer allow group members to become the admin of an "open" group after the original admin has left. The privacy setting of your group can be found in the "Info" tab, under the "Basic Info" section.

If you are unable to become the admin of a "closed" or "secret" group, please submit a report here.

"Control your info" team is destroyed this great option with become admin button of thousands of groups without administrator.
What now people? this is forever? :(

Yes...forever...why take away something you don't deserve :rolleyes: it is not yours, why should you take it???
 
I have lost many high ranking groups like this, I'm glad its stopped, as now there wont be people reporting groups just to get their hands on them.

I lost a very nice group only 2 days ago it had 480,000 members and made me thousands, lol oh well i will just have to make another one :)

lol but most of the groups i have lost have been taken over by normal people who for some reason did not edit anything so i still get a handful of hits from each one every day

how did you lose the group? fake acct or real acct for admin?

Really butlimous? you are never created fake account with pictures of the hot girl that is not yours and don't deserve is? What if admin voluntarily leave the group?
 
Facebook remove become admin button and now have thousands and thousands groups without admin.Facebook must find another solution or have no future with groups because every day hundredth new groups remain abandoned.
 
its life. move on from this lol. its not the end of the world like you make it sound. you cant touch the groups now so just leave them and ignore
 
Yeah, I highly doubt they ever put it back. It really is pretty ridiculous to just swipe up a group with so many members, but I guess that's over with.
