Beatport related question?

Today i discussed with an record label regarding online marketing.
He ask me that, can i promote their releases in beatport?
So i asked him what he want exactly in beatport. He told me that he needs subscribers in beatport. I asked him if he get subscribers what is the benefit?
He told me that due to he is a record label, if he has subscribers on there then when his record label releases a records then those subscribers will automatically receive an update about that release.

So is any BHW members know how i can gather subscribers for that record label. As beatport is not a social network , so where we will be able to gather through comments posting or message sending etc...

So how i will be able to gather subscribers? as i can see there is a good potential if we can do that.

The best way to do this is to target the forums with that genre of music.

I am assuming this is dance music, get some of the preview tracks and post them across some of the bigger dance music forums also go for the groups that have been setup on Facebook and do some commenting on soundcloud.

There are loads of other sites, those are just a few that spring to mind. Hope this helps
