Hey,

I have bin selling a little on DP and now almost everybody has asked for a refund and I just got a mail from one who said I have made an illegal transaction and he will report me to paypal.


So be carefull there are extremely many jerks on DP who is accusing you for stuff you didn't do.

And it could hurt your paypal account

that can happen anywhere...not just on dp....so it's important, if you're gonna sell something online, to think of a way to handle payments and not just limit yourself to paypal....there are many payment processors online...and the more pple figure that out, the better they'll be.

I've made as much as $50k over the years selling on DP. It got pretty impossible with their new no bump system, all the refunders and those that swap a copy of your product for some other product. You can sell 5 copies and a day later everyone has it.
 
Take Google Checkout for your payment. I use them and I don't get any of the crap I used to deal with on Paypal. They can't do chargebacks, and Google Checkout doesn't watch over you like a hawk and limit your account at the drop of a hat.
 
DP is pretty cut throat these days. Bunch of kids doing chargebacks for a $5 dollar eBook. I would rather get money other ways just because they are so pathetic, thats not to say you can't make money there though.

I used to make like 20-30 mini blogs before the PR update and then with a few backlinks they used to jump to PR2/3/4. I personally don't give a f about PR but DPers used to be crazy about the links.

10 annual links on 30 sites for even $20 = $6k

Then their love for backlinks died out a little bit so I used to put various methods of mine that I longer used into an ebook and flog that. One particular product sold at around 20 copies every day (For $50/pop) I was on $1k/day.

I tried selling a few links and ebooks not that long ago and could not sell shit :(
 
Yeah, selling an ebook on DP is like walking in the line of fire of multiple cannons. I took 2 days to write up a decent ebook and sold it, with only 1 sale.

The only thing that I've found to sell really well are services, if you can offer a decent one you will get buyers. I've gotten people from there who've spent over $200 on me so far. You've just got to re-post your thread every day because there's 100 people posting a thread in there a day.

They also buy traffic, and thevault has a traffic script you can download and sell hits to them with that.
 
It's checkout.google.com. It's free to sign up, but they do take out fees. You need to have a bank account, but you can use a prepaid card bank account, unlike Paypal. You can find that by finding out the direct deposit information for your prepaid card and entering that as your bank info. I know for sure the NetSpend card works for this, because that's what I use.

I think I'll start using google checkout soon after what you have told it sounds really good and also sounds like it doesn't get limited
 
Yes dp is dead as a money maker but the odd quality unique money making guide will still sell well and if you deliver what you claim then that will cut down a lot on chargebacks. It stands to reason that if the method is so good at making money why would they share it at DP for $10-$20. Its common sense but people with low intellegence try to still fool people or fall for it.........People still expect to pay a few dollars and earn 1000's with little work

With digital gold, they cannot chargeback period. For any reason. Once a transaction is done, its done.
 
Blackhatworld became a thread of Digital point. You can't even guarantee your product can't get leaked if you just give one review copy. I found a few times my friends review copies was posted at blackhatworld before actually he post the review of the products. Simply outstanding! But not always, if you own the products but the good news is , our mods are pretty nice to deal with. Always inform them about your products so they can update their don't share list and you can be assured it won't get leaked at Blackhatworld.
