I was filtering through the garbage on SAPE and thought I found a great homepage link. Here are the metrics for the domain:

PR: 6
DA: 61
PA: 63
TF: 26
CF: 40
SR: 7
BC: 2

I checked its link profile and it was clean. The domain has links from tons of .edu, .gov and editorial links from Huffington Post and others.

SAPE reported that there were only 2 other "paid links" on the homepage and I didn't mind being the third and final link. The domain had tons of juice to share between all the OBL links it did have. I was about to pull the trigger until I did an SEO browser check, and guess what I found?

Links injected in the content to buy Viagra, Cialis and Abilify (don't know what the heck that is). The thing is, you don't see these links. Not even in the source code, the webmaster was making it only available to Googlebot.

This may not be anything new to the veterans on BHW but maybe this well help another newbie. (I'm a newbie myself)

Interesting find.

Never came across such domain myself.

Hiding everything but googlebot seems to be getting more and more popular.

Well SAPE links aren't safe to use to begin with, nice find nonetheless.

Thanks for the share, looks like a lot more checks need to be done on sape links.

On another note, anyone know what happened to Shakeitout/RadiantDarkness at Spamfinity? I want to cushion my SAPE links with some SPAM and wanted to try out Spamfinity. But it's like these guys went "Ghost". Even their thread on BHW is unattended for like 10 months.

FYI Abilify is an anti-psychotic. In 2015 it was responsible for about 40% of its parent company's net holdings. It's sold in over 60 countries around the world.

SEO gives me a headache but I just wanted to throw that out there.

It's likely not malicious. It's more likely that the site is hacked. Injected pharma links are common with organized hackers that just run scripts all day on WordPress. WordPress is terrible.

How do you do a SEO browser check in order to find these hidden links? What tool/site do you use?

Is the site on shared hosting? If so, then it might be hacked. A trivial exercise on shared hosting. However, it could just be that links are being sold elsewhere and cloaked. These kinds of things are very common.

If its not on shared hosting then its very unlikely to be hacked.

Use G and search for "SEO Browser". There are plenty out there. I personally use Browseo

Are you gonna use this directly to your site or as a tier 2 link ?

GOD NO!

I wouldn't even use that domain on my tier 2. Just too risky for me.

Thanks for the heads up, we need to dig deeper before working with the SAPE links.

Nob that's real dangerous I got MA fast after doing this G bout many small ISP providers so they check out your site from another end
They doing that for adsense too and the visit will com withe regular browser user agent .

Sape is easily one of if not THE most MISUNDERSTOOD of links available today. Most people have NO CLUE what they're talking about with them and a good percentage of the rest only have half a clue. Used properly they are HANDS DOWN one of the most cost effective ways to get links.

HINT: Notice that the big name around here who sell them for a living are STILL in business with 1000's of clients. Ya think it's because SAPE is so "dangerous" and harmful and Big Bad Google is coming to fuck their world up? Uhhh...NO...It's because it WORKS.

NOTHING works forever with the same level of power and effectiveness. BUT SAPE is NOWHERE near dead and like I said, is 100% incredibly effective IF used properly.

But I would honestly prefer it if all the paranoid out there would PLEASE CONTINUE to spread rumors and Google Propoganda, and to preach that "SAPE IS EVIL"....
Less buyers tends to keep the cost down. That and the wonderful job the world has done of fucking up Russia's currency works in my favor too. It's like buy one get one free now ;)

I know who you're talking about, the secret sauce of the big services is indeed Sape links.

Do you guys think the veteran sellers on BHW check things like this before buying links and selling them here? It's a scary thought. Maybe that's why G penalizes some websites that uses SAPE and others manage to stay under the radar.
