Be careful with IFTTT -- nsfw blogs

So I have a couple blogs that I work on manually and a couple blogs I was mainly just building up for later use. The ones that I was building up for later I just set up with IFTTT with a few different recipes to make sure it had enough content.

Today one of my blogs with about 20,000 followers was disabled for "content involving minors". My guess is someone reported the blog and that was the end of that blog... I assume tumblr won't do anything about it and that sucks. So I just wanted to say to be careful if you aren't in control of your content.

Not a problem for just IFTTT, a problem with any bot in the adult niche if you are auto posting content.

I am not in adult niche, and I got my 2 blogs banned today because used IFTTT for posting content..
 
I use IFTTT without problems with NSFW. I also had blogs down for material involving minors, the odd thing was that those blogs images where hand picked and loaded with picloadr.com to avoid this problem. No minors the blogs... but the dispute never got an answer from Tumblr. They get picky with teens material.
 
Agree with everything said here. I should have made it more general but wanted to get the warning out. I definitely am not cool with minors on my blogs and from now on I will go through and hand pick all my content just to protect myself a little more. I also tried to contact them looking for proof or an explanation of how they determined the content actually did involve minors, but I have not heard back and most likely wont.
 
It doesn't matter if the people in the pictures were of legal age or not, if they can't verify that the person in the picture is at least 18, they will delete it for that reason.

What else could be? I asked them for a reason, why they banned me, they answered how I posted spam and affiliate links. But only links I had on blog are links in caption that point to my main blog. How could I link to my website if they ban me even if link to another tumblr blog, they are funny.
 
Got nothing to do with IFTTT. I have been running 5 Adult blogs for several months now without any problems.
 
Wasnt the frequency I dont think. I autopost at least 10,000 articles per week.

I tried using IFTTT, but I think there is a bug. It keeps posting the same image many times in a row. When day I set it up for instgram to tumblr recepie and it posted the same image 6 times in a row. How can I fix that?
 
50 Post per day is maximum so if you're using maximum post's even for two days it can get fishy.
Secondly today and past few days tumblr have gone mad over blogs.Have deleted ton's on old blogs.

Is there a way to get IFTTT to REBLOG adult videos?
I have IFTTT set up to run a tumblr feed onto my adult video blog but I keep getting "policy violation" issues, but if I could just auto-reblog then I wouldn't get these, I've tried to create an IFTTT recipe but there are no "reblog" options for videos, IFTTT really has poor support and zero internet discussion noise/forum.

Please help if you can ?
 
ifttt definitely works, probably posting 50 pics the first day got you banned. let accounts sit at least 24 hours before posting anything. Also, dunno if this helps but setting up a quick layout on the theme with profile pics before posting anything after wairting 24 hours probably helps too.
 
I use IFTTT on multiple blogs and post 50 pictures a day, never had any problems. I think you just got flagged by a competitor bro, or maybe the person you were stealing content from found out and flagged you themselves?
