Im having major problems with the new BDM5 paid version

When you add say 200 urls to the 'my web pages' section and highlight just say 5 sites then you press 'Add my web pages to queue' buttom under bookmarking the stupid thing adds all the bloody 200 urls and not just the 5 I have selected..

Going back to BDM4 paid version

Any one having this problem

The program as a whole is sluggish buggy and in shambles. I couldn't even stomach loading it up anymore and probably wont even try until a couple months from now.

I never expected the program to work FLAWLESSLY coming right out of the gate after the new release, but I also never expected such a degree of frustration.

I've always wanted a good excuse to buy SENuke and now I have one.

having random problems as well...

there've been a couple updates recently, I'm on 5.005 now, hopefully they keep coming...

5.0.0.5 is out? nice. 5.0.0.4 made really big improvements for me so I am hopeful.

On the whole tho, would you guys say it was worth buying?

For me, it wasn't the "bugs" that were a problem. It's the entire design of BMD5 that is totally flawed. It uses Internet Explorer to register accounts and submit bookmarks. So what you get is a bunch of browser windows opening in BMD5 each of which go through the registration process.

It is very very slow.

As anyone who has seen my posts on BMD I have been securely on their nuts for a long time but v5 is dreadful. Im sure Edwin has his reasons for making it how he did but I won't be advising anyone buy it from now on, unless a lot changes.

I am a paid owner so I have lots of experience dating back to v3 (best in my opinion) Right now BookmarkWiz is looking about the quickest and simplest to use bookmarker on the market. BW lacks some features of BMD but lots of the features in BMD are simply there to add to a list rather than being truly useful.

Hopefully Edwin will sort his act out cos BMD was always the best, v4 is still decent if only he would update that while he sorts the problems with v5 out.

Hmmm. You know I am finding the speed of 5 to be as fast as 4. How powerful is your computer? Mine is pretty beefy which does concern me as I am planning on having an older laptop that is unused sit in the background to run BMD5. I'll have to test that and see if there is a difference.

Its absolutely awful, i also have the paid version and its really bad, i spend 5-6 hrs yesterday and ended up with 50 successful submissions max. Registering the accounts was a nightmare, making the bookmarks so many fails, more than 70% I would say and sat watching it was absolute nightmare, hate it!

Yep have to agree I'm very disappointed with BMD 5 a real step backwards from version 4.

5-6 hrs out of 10 sites it bookmarks 1-3 pages very very slow

the success rate is to low, the nice GUI doesn't solve this.

edwin should invest time on stabilizing the bookmarking process and not into the gui

i agree with doczoidberg. stop working on gui, get the functions stable and faster.

I'm running 5.005 now. It still has its share of bugs. For example, its been running now in the taskbar for a couple of hours as I attempt to bookmark two pages.I can't get the bugger to maximize when I toggle it from the taskbar, I think it probably got hung up on a website or something. It's sucking up the CPU resources like the dickens too. I have a dual core with 4 gig of ram and I get the occasional delayed reaction out of my keyboard and mouse when I go to do something. It really needs a pause button for when you screw up the captcha and you need do-over. BMD just moves on to the next page regardless of screwing up which is a waste when you pass up a good ranking bookmark site

I have not tryed the version 5 but I have a question that weathe the accounts and the projects of 4 can loaded by the 5

very bad does not import anything from the version 4, and default list is only 69, but yet i do hope that they will soon released a more stable version, as for now stick to version 4, more user friendly and account creation at ease. but with version 5, problem problem.

but again the version 5 interface are more better than earlier one, but we have to wait, such as account creation, more default account list.
