Statement on BBC News channel interview with trader Alessio Rastani

The BBC have today issued the following statement regarding an interview with trader Alessio Rastani on the BBC News channel yesterday (Monday 26 September):

"We've carried out detailed investigations and can't find any evidence to suggest that the interview with Alessio Rastani was a hoax. He is an independent market trader and one of a range of voices we've had on air to talk about the recession."

Really don't think he was saying that Goldman Sachs truly rules the world.. He did actually throw in the other big companies after saying Goldman Sachs. His point though is that it's the banks have a strangle hold on economies, investments etc. And there's nothing false about that at all. Surprised that people would think otherwise.

It's true but unfortunate for some. A recession does give some people a great chance to make a lot of money, whether it's actually what causes the recession or what they do right after, but money can be made.

I just bought 2 rifles, two handguns (plenty of bullets), 6 cases of vodka, a year worth of food, a solar generator, seeds, goats, pigs and cows, and a water filter.
