I admit I am a little obsessive when it comes to keeping track of my earnings which is why I keep a spreadsheet to show me exactly how I am doing. Maybe I'm not the only one. If you keep an earnings spreadsheet, post a screenshot! :)

This is just an attempt at a fun thread...

I love excel, almost everything I do to a site I document it in a spread sheet.

Excel absolutely rocks...

Excel 2007 added some great new data manipulation features, and when you combine it with VB/Macro's and Outlook, you can do some amazingly powerful things...

Fab for business/process automation.

I don't think I ever close Excel down - it's always open and being used to track something!

the link you shared is broken

I don't use excel so much, I prefer hard copies (paper template, pen, & calculator) that I can see at all times LOL. I have a severe stats addiction too (as we all do).. I really need to break it. But on the other hand, I feel if I don't watch my stats I'm going to find myself low on income for months at a time and that DOES happen if you aren't maintaining stuff and keeping up with everything.

But I also have some excel sheets with all my chopped up tasks that either I, or an assistant can do. can't post, gotta keep that on lock down ;)

but damn, sometimes when money is good and no work needs to be done immediately, I'll spend my whole day on youtube and checking my stats.. i think I've gotten this way because I've had times in the past where I'll be making money then all the sudden it all stops! and I gotta figure out where in the line I screwed up.

Now a days I'm months ahead of schedule and my only indicator that everything is running smoothly is my Google Analytics account, a tool for monitoring my rankings, and of course checking my $ stats to make sure my links are working, the tracking and what not..
