Batch file key logger

Okay according to my friend he has put a key logger on my machine, by me opening one of his .bat files, is it possible for some one to make a key logger in a batch file, or has he binded it to the .bat file, if so how do I find the key logger, I have ran 4 different anti viruses, Command, malware anit malware, spyware terminator and absolute key logger remover. My machine has come up clean from Key loggers I have scanned the file many times and it has come up clean, but for some reason I really do think its a Key logger, he has wrote it on a Mac, is their any way I can tell if its a key logger or not, if he has a hidden a key logger inside my machine some where and it is so well hidden noting can pick it up, when I right click the .bat file and click edit this is the script in note pad

(   Mac OS X  2  R  ) some keys did not come out for some reason, he said it was simply a computer shunting down command after cos I got pissed off and it did shut my computer down can some one please help me, I had to make a alternative account and email so he doesn't get my pass in case.

So wait he could have actully put a key logger on my machine

It's possible in a number of ways (bound, downloaded, etc..) and he probably used some "custom code" from the sound of your post. I seem to also understand you don't have a very good grasp on where to look for the "autorun" functions every OS has therefore your best bet -to stay on the safe side- is formatting your machine.

Not too sure if this will help, but I wrote a guide a couple of weeks back on a different forums, so I'll just post it here.

And to answer your questions, YES - it is possible, just weird that he would of used a .bat file.

Open ESET NOD 32, and scan your computer. You can do so by doing the following:

• Click the 'COMPUTER SCAN' tab on the left hand side.
• Clicking the 'SMART SCAN' button within that tab.

You're now done with the ESET NOD 32 section, time to move onto the Malware Bytes section.




Ah, good old Malwarebytes. Surprisingly, many people don't use this - but the ones that do, know they are secure. With the ability to catch HTML5 Java Kit Exploits from Java Drive-bys, this useful tool can come in handy.

This is more of a 'double up', if you will to use alongside ESET NOD 32. Basically, are you are done with ESET NOD 32 scanning (Should take about 3 hours), you should also run a scan with Malwarebytes to catch any trace files.

We won't be working with any Key Generators here, because that itself could contain malicious files. Let's get started!


Well, obviously the first thing you are going to want to do is download the program. You can download the trial below, and there is no need for the pro-version, as ESET NOD 32 makes up for the loss. The difference between exclusive versions is no different, so please - do not worry!

I have faith in the fact that most of you can download and install a program, but some of you on the other hand, well...you've lost it. So, just install the program, and wait for ESET NOD 32 to finish doing it's scan.


You are going to want to perform a scan with Malwarebytes. (Please DO NOT scan at the same time as ESET NOD, they will conflict with each other)


Luckily for you, the first tab that opens on Malwarebytes is the scan tab. So, you can perform a full scan, but is not necessary - I highly suggest you just run a quick scan. This will get to the MAIN areas where viruses drop their files, such as AppData, Temp files, Documents, etc.


Once that is done, you SHOULD be clean. You should run a scan every week on your computer to make sure you are clean as a whistle.

Did he actually have access to your computer or did you just open a batch file?

The problem is, anti virus does only find malware which is already known.

So,dont trust antivirus software if you know he has the ability to either code his own keylogger OR you think he rly wants to spy on you and purchased a sort of 'private' keylogger.
