My guides outline all of the basics though from start to finish. And its important that you understand all of those components - for example if you just think "keep it simple, build a site and then go from there" chances are you will not get anywhere - finding the right niche and doing your keyword research is the critical part because everything else is built on that and if you have picked a super competative niche or a niche where there is no advertisers / no market / no demand then you are wasting all of your efforts.

Okay, so what exactly your niche is? Is that some kind of a video blog and you're uploading your own recorded video? some kind of a Tips and How-to-do topics? Is that it?
If that's the case, why not try putting some few lines or content on your videos? Youtubers always seek for content to solve their problems.
-The length of the video also matters, make your videos at least 2 mins. long. The longer user will stick on your video, the better your video will rank. Shares, likes, comments and the number of times your video is on other websites plays a big role in your ranking.
Always remember: A video with a useful content is what people love to watch and share. Avoid creating garbage videos.
-The title of the Video. Put the keyword in your title and try to include a brief description (at least 200 words) on the comment field.
-Engage with social media, sync your youtube account to your social media accounts. Post your videos to relevant groups of social media, they can give a great signal on your content and also a great way to network and learn about your videos.
