Basics in tumblr

Hello guys,

I want to create a tumblr account with 10k members. I just want pick my niche and then autopost some pics. Furthermore, my strategy to get followers is to follow people and hope for a follow back!

However my questions are,

• How many poeple can I follow savely per day without getting banned?
• What should I do when I get banned?
• What are the best ways to monetize tumblr?

10k real followers on Tumblr is actually not incredibly hard to hit but it may take some time.

1. You can only follow 200 blogs a day max, Tumblr doesn't allow you to follow more than this a day. As well as a 5,000 following max i.e: you can't follow more than 5k users.
2. Start over, or realize that there is little money in Tumblr and switch to a different social network
3.Depends on your type of blog. If you're just going to spam pictures ether MyLikes or Adsense. Depends how many you can drive to your blog/how many reblogs you can get.

A few months ago, I was building accounts by liking hundreds of pictures a day using an iMacros script. You might want to try that as well! It's a great way to reach a targeted audience. As far as monetization goes, you're really just stuck with MyLikes (or ChaCha if you're lucky) unless you set up your own site to push traffic to.
