basics if creating a simple streaming iptv site?

what are the technical considerations for making a site like Livenewson.com or basically any streaming site that live streams a few tv channels?

Where does he get this stream? Is he pulling this from his cable account into a some converting server. He only hosts a dozen or so channels, seems like it would be easy to configure, but I’m not familiar with the backend of it. Would love duplicate the simplicity of this site . Thank you for your help

Looks like he's using janjua.tv

Never used that service before but you get Unlimited traffic with a free account.. looks good!

As for where he get's the streams I'm not sure.
