    Hi All folks,
1st of all i would like to thank all members of this forum for helping me to understand SEO.But i have few questions which i want to ask
1- Why people say never use scrapebox to blast your money site(main site), So from this i get the idea that we should have two or multiple sites if we are using multiple sites that how this secondary site will help in getting traffic for main site?
I am new to SEO and i know many people will find it a dumb question so my apologies in advance.
    Thanks a lot

you don't want to use scrapebox on your main site for a few reasons but the most important one is that you don't want your linking to look "unnatural" to google. You use other secondary sites as a "buffer" so that you can blast links at them and the link juice will pass on tho your main site without jeopardizing your ranking

Scrapebox blast generally means blasting thousands of links via comments to your site and search engine bots find that quite unnatural, which MAY lead your site getting penalized or even sandboxed.

Okay, these multiple sites are actually your Tier 1 links (web 2.0 etc.) that can be blasted with scrapebox and since a majority of these are built on authoritative domains, sending quite a few backlinks to them should not hurt and in turn the link juice from them would be increased many folds which may lead your site to be ranked higher in search engines.

Scrapebox is a piece of automation software that can scrape and blast a link to your site to a massive number of places on the internet. Sounds good, but those links will be of low quality. It's best to create the backlinks that go directly to your site manually, or pay someone/some service to do that for you. This will make the links look natural and contextual. These are called you tier 1 links.

Although, Scrapebox can be really useful to blast those tier 1 links, as it can juice them up and take the bullet if google catches anything negative about the tier 1's.

Of course that's just a brief explanation, but you can learn a lot more about all of this around the Forum.

When you build a money site you want to avoid doing anything to it that google might not like. So what you do is build another web property, site, web 2.0, or whatever. With this second (and 3rd, 4th, etc) property. you make it related to your money site and you link from the second site to your money site. This second site is called a tier two site. Now since backlinks pass juice to whomever they point to, your 2nd tier site will pass along any link love it has to your money site.

What you do is build links to your tier two site, which passes thru to your money site. Should you do something wrong and get a penalty or ban, the tier two site gets hit, not your money site. All you loose is your tier two site. The more tier two sites you have, the more link love you can pass to your money site.

Many people build a tier three set of sites that point to the tier twio, and a tier 4 that points to your tier three, and so on.

Many people make these tier two and above sites with poor content, so they are quick. Personally I try to make the tier two's good sites on their own, and let them gain their own authority as time goes by.

The main takeaway is that you do the grey hat stuff to these satellite sites, so your money site doesn't get hit.

You have to try to make everything as natural as possible. And linking to your money page is very risky, because if google rate it as a unnatural link building it will ban it from the search results.

So I have my money site, and several tier 1 sites that all link to it... Are you saying I can blast my tier 1 sites with Scrapbox? I'm just not too clear on when it's safe to use Scrapebox; although I do know that you shouldn't use it directly on your money site. I've heard of people building as many as 7 tiers of web 2.0 sites before they use Scrapebox... Do you think that's necessary, or can I just use it on my tier 1 sites? They're all handmade by me personally and look very natural...

Boy, you have got a long way to go am afraid.

So long as your article is not copied from somewhere and you are the first to use it on your site or article directory, the value will go to you.

On the issue of blasting scrapebox directly on your money site, i will say it depends on the strategy you are using..

A lot of people still do it and get away with it, Google now has a kind of themo stats that monitors the purity of your back link..

If you use your anchor text less than 40% times, you should be fine...

In most cases, i prefer to blast my money site with PR blog pages and above when i want to do it directly..
