Basic SEO Challenge

Hey guys.

How people's SEO tactics over the long term play out tend to overlap, but right at the start is where things tend to be unique from person to person. I think it'd be a good exercise (and good input for those new to the game) to decribe how YOU personally get a brand new wordpress blog from 0 to 30 uniques/day.

Things we'll assume:

1) There are already 10 articles of content, and it will be updated at least bi-weekly

2) Only the most barebones, basic plugins have been installed (akismet, all-in-one SEO)

What do you do, and in what order?

Me personally:

First thing I'd do to build some decent backlinks and get an immediate flow of traffic is rewrite all 10 currently posted articles, and send them to:
EZA
Articlesbase
Articledashboard
GoArticles

The rest, in my experience personally, offer greatly diminished terms as far as clickthroughs are concerned.

Immediately after I'd register a few blogger blogs featuring some re-writes, and point social bookmarks at those. These blogs would link to deep pages as well as top level every now and then.

I'd create several web 2.0 properties, suge as a hub page or squidoo lens, to point at the article rewrites on EZA once they (finally) get approved. Each of these hubs/lenses would have social bookmarks pointing at them as well.

That's about it. In summary I submit hand re-written articles for immediate traffic, then create something pseudo linkwheelish pointing to both the EZA articles as well as deeplinks and top level of my original blog.

1) Hire someone who does this for a living.
2) Sit back and relax.

If that's really what you do, then who do you hire, and what kinda package would you get to get in the ballpark of 30 uniques/day? Humor me here

No offence mate, but i think your just wanting people to tell you how they achived success at this, thus gifting you with their hard earned knowledge.

If this isnt the case, why dont you get us started mate??

Added my personal method to the original post.

The basic opening maneuvers aren't a massive secret, but it is interesting to see how people differ. This forum is for learning, no?

you guys. hit up getarticlesdone.com they write that shit for you and submit to voer 3,000 directories giving you 3,000 backlinks all for about 9.50. also do this about ten times with ten different anchor text's

Sounds like a ton of backlinks really fast.. A little sandboxy

no it depends on when google finds the pages. not when the articles are submitted.

I'm new here and this is my first post. I have been on the net for at least 1 year and Blackhatworld is so far the best site. The only thing that I see, most of the stuff in here are really geared to the more experience user. I been trying to connect the bit and pieces of information that I could understand, but it's still hard for newbie like me.

My question is: Why not create a step by step guide to go from $0.00 to $100.00 a day. I would not mind paying for it as soon as it's from you guys.

Especially the tools one must use to achieve success. Any ideas?

P.S. I also want to point out that you guys are the best!!!!!!!

there are many free guides and programs available on this forum that can easily take you from 0 to $100 per day man just do a little searching and you'll run into some great products. good luck!

Assuming I start with 10 articles or whatever is kind of funny. Writing the content would be one of the most important parts. Both the research of the topics and the writing is how I would go from 0 to 30 uniques. =P

Dude search around you will find some good stuff although be careful not to do too much reading.

Try and pick something you want to do from a getting started thread - they are stickied around. Look up some of Harros threads and there was one about someone wrote an overview of BHW for their Dad or something.

Try to pick an area and run with it. There is so much free stuff here dont buy anything apart from poss some software licenses to automate stuff you learn.

The thing that you'll come to learn after about a month of research is there's no "big secret" when it comes to IM, especially whitehat. It's a simple formula

Unique Content + Regular updates + Relevant advertising + Traffic = Money

UC, updates, relevant ads, traffic + scaling = big money

You just need to fill in the gaps with the technicals :dunno: there's plenty of material between here and wickedfire to do that.

No problem, I'll humor you. You can hire someone off here. If you're looking for 30 uniques a day. You should be paying next to nothing. You can get that kind of traffic by creating a single twitter account and autoadding to it. That's just the first thing in my head. If you have a serious site and you want real traffic, you should be paying a professional $xxx to promote your site. Pick anyone who's well respected.

1) Register domain
2) Install wordpress and optimise
3) Write 20 articles
4) Post a sticky article on domain
5) Submit 10 articles to ezine articles
6) Post a second article on domain
7) Create pages on squidoo, hubpages, blogger, wordpress, weebly, scribd with unique content that link back to my site.
8) Create facebook page (for future use) and twitter account with keyword name and tweet each new content.
9) Submit news to propellor
10) Add a unique article to blog every second day
11) Build 20 forum profile backlinks each day that link back to my domain and stickied article.
12) 10 blog comments each day
13) Bookmark to a half dozen or so sites with social marker.

I've had some success doing this, but i've not been in the IM game very long. Make it an every day habit.

Warning. Regarding http://www.getarticlesdone.com. I submitted to them 6 days ago, I have received nothing, no communication. I have emailed them 3 times with no response, and their live chat button has been down the whole time. I am leery. Just my 2 cents. here.

thanks for the heads up. you might want to check out cyberhub.com! they have articles for a lot cheaper too. I haven't used getarticlesdone.com yet but i appreciate the note
