    Hey

    I am new to the forums but so far the community has been a great help in answering some of my questions, so thank you BHW people. I am in the process of designing a website to promote and Advertise Adult content, i have found my niche within the market and have been in contact with people on advise on design and where to host and find a domain. I not looking to make big money this is a project for me to learn and practice skills that i have acquired from the couple of years i have been in University and try and make a little bit of cash on the side. The Website is going to contain thumbnails which will then link to preview galleries and short trial videos.

    I have some questions that i couldn't really find the exact answer i was searching for on the forums this many be because im new to the forums and haven't been searching in the right places.

    The Questions are :

    • Where and how do i acquire content to fill the website? (From what i have heard i have go directly to a content provider and ask them) - How do i make money on this?
    • Where can i find advertisements to put on the website?
    • Is there a better way to make money than just advertising?
    • Best way to get some decent traffic flowing through the site?
    • From what i have heard in terms of legal matters, i have a page to make sure everyone is above 18 years of age, and then just host the website somewhere where the laws as tight such as US & UK. Is there anything else i have to take into consideration?
    • I have found companies to host adult content and also where to buy a domain name, but if anyone could recommend somewhere that they would really found excellent please do tell.

    I have a small team working on the design,logos & promotion of the site & People ready to make new content if the website where to start making some money.

    Thank you for your time and i appreciate any advice and tips that you can give.

    P.S. If this is posted in the wrong place within the forums then i am sorry and i will move and relocate it to the correct location within the forums.

    Sincerely

    MrLavs

    Hi there,

    1. When you signup with affiliate programs of different Adult Content companies. They will provide you content and galleries to promote.
    2. Embed the content provided by affiliates to drive traffic to their website and make affiliate $$$ (try to select $1 trial offers).
    3. Put your website name on Adult samples (For complete videos visit YourWebsite.com) and upload them to different popular adult sites (xvideos,xhamster,redtube) etc
    4. Just make the main page with couple of links (over 18 Enter "Link to main site page, Not 18 Click here "link back to google").
    5. You need adult hosting only if you own content, use the hosted galleries and videos provided by your content providers (affiliate links).

    Good Luck

    First of all thank you very much for the quick reply and your advice is very useful. I have a follow up question concerning the first point made, Where can i sign up to affiliate programs?
    And another question advertising banners what would be the best steps in acquiring them?

    Cheers Once again

    I would do a lot of research before promoting adult.

    It is a very difficult product. Very very very difficult.

    It used to be teaming with webmasters. Now it is a ghost town. There is a reason for that. The conversions are absolutely horrible.

    I would think twice. I used to be in adult. And I'm not even looking at it despite the fact that I know how to deliver traffic. Simply because I know it won't convert for ****.

    TLDR: Adult doesn't convert. Most webmasters left adult, and for a good reason.

    Cheers for the reply its nice to get everyone's views especially from someone like yourself with experience in the industry. I have done a fair amount of research about how much money these kind of sites turnover and i know its not great, but as i said earlier i am really only looking to do this for the experience and any cash made would kind of be a bonus. The total cost of me running everything from the start is looking only to be around £30 then a monthly cost of around £15, so i would have to only make £15 a month to cover expenses.

    May i ask why the adult industry does not convert anymore? market flooded? it would be just nice to know from someone like yourself.

    Cheers

    It doesn't convert because all the content can be easily attained for free via tubes and torrents.

    If your only objective is to learn then sure. If your objective is to make real money... you may find that there isn't any to make anymore.

    There is still money to be made in adult, but 1) it's sooooo much harder than it used to be 2) i would definitely avoid promoting paysites as affiliate paysite sales are (almost) dead, ratios are worsening every year and that has been the trend for the past 10 years or so

    Okay so avoid promoting paysites, im a little bit lost on how to make cash now then, the website i have built is for promoting sites and then a banner or 2 for adverts.
    What would be your suggestion for making money in the industry?

    cheers

    I'm not an expert by any means (struggling to make money in adult myself) but i would recommend to try to sell products that are not free yet like cams, dating, sex toys, male enhancement etc.

    Well there is 5 most common items you can promote
    1) Paysites
    2) Dating sites
    3) Cam sites
    4) Penis pills (never made a penny with these)
    5) Pay Per Click

    Each has it's advantages and disadvantes.

    1) Tons to choose from. Convert very badly. I wouldn't do these
    2 + 3) Probably the best options
    4) Never made a penny with these. They are basically scams as far as I'm concerned. But others do well so I don't know.
    5) Again I've never really used it. If you have quality traffic you are probably better off with #2 and #3

    Thanks for the advice, btw i am currently waiting for 5 sites to approve my website for the affiliate programs (porn). I have bought the domain name and have hosting ready to buy, but i wont buy hosting just yet without getting content i can put on the site for launch day(btw is this a good idea?). Overall i have to have £4.50 a month to cover expenses then anything after that is profit so from what i heard i know the money isnt great however i don't think it will be as bad not to make £5 a month lol. This is going to sound really nooby but what is meant but the term "converting"? i presume it means the amount of space the affiliate takes up on the site to the actual money made?

    I was also wandering whether it is worth partnering up with a slightly more established website and asking whether you could be on their recommended sites list displayed on their webpage?

    Im sorry for all the questions i just want to cover all bases and make sure the launch goes as smoothly as possible.

    Thank you again for your reply, everyone on this forum has been very helpful and informative (great Community)

    Sincerely

    MrLavs

    I don't have much experience practically but I did a lot of research in regards to promoting adult industry.

    Here are few options, you might know or might not.

    1. Create a somewhat of review site in Adult niche. In each site's review page embed the sample content provided by them.
    Here are top 3 Adult Site Networks with almost over 15 sites each. (That'll make over 45 pages of content/reviews)

    :: http://www.juggcash.com/sites.php
    :: http://www.bangbrosonline.com/sites.php
    :: http://www.nastydollars.com/sites.htm

    2. In the side panel you can advertise Adult products.
    :: http://www.adameve.com/t-affiliate.aspx

    3. In 2nd side panel or bottom part of 1st you can advertise adult dating/cams
    ::https://secure.adultfriendfinder.co...hWyfUgookK8YO7opS5lrw/uIXF8aVTWcWKUU3MugG3vMI

    Hopefully it helps.
    Good Luck

    Getting into the adult niche would be too big a challenge, but if you approach things differently to how the majority of people are doing, you will be able to make the most of your resources. Affiliate programs are easy to find if you know what product you would like to promote. You can even use google for the same by searching for product name with affiliate program.
