I'm doing an Audit on a client site.
They have a couple of hundred 404 errors coming in, mainly related to old images , PDFs etc.
Should they be concerned from a ranking perspective?
I would tend to think a 404'd page to be worse than a 404 for an image (?)
Would it be overkill to 301 all those images ?
