Basic methods and tools to increase real followers

Hi Gentlemen,
I'm trying to increase (real) followers on a Twitter account, 3 years old and practically unused until now. I started from about 60 followers and the goal is to go over 20k in 2 months. Reading somewhere around here, I started with Tweepi, following every day around 300-500 new people (until reaching Twitter's limit), and the day after flushing back whose are not following me. I'm also using the Chrome add-on "tweepi-v2-select-all" to accelerate the process on Tweepi. This system seems working, it is requiring about 15 minutes of work daily, but I'm gaining over 200 new followers every day.
My only fear is that I often reach "maximum followers' limit" on Twitter, I hope not risking my account get banned / locked by Twitter.

Now I'm wondering if there are some other good "basic" methods or tools you could recommend for this job, and which may worth some time and money invests. I means:

1. "Growing sites" like Twiends are working?

2. Are there some kind of "Link Exchange" (or Tweet-exchange or what damn are called), really working, you could recommend?

3. Does it worth creating some fake accounts for RT or addressing traffic to my main account?

4. Do you recommend to automate my main account with Auto-follow tools, DM to welcome new followers, etc. If yes, which tools are you using?

20,000 in 2 months? Good luck with that...

my suggestions for you:
1. don't think about short time
2. because when you can't reach your goals, you will lost your hope!
3. think in long term for example : 1 years you will reach 200K

Ok, thanks, maybe I will need to reduce my goals, but for the moment I'm on the trail... 300 follower/days, around 18000 in 2 months?
For autofollow and DM are there some web services working well?

You can reach 20k followers in two months.It is possible..I have reached 50k followers in one month.(Using the android/cell phone glitch Mass following Method).I also have reached 200k+ followers in one year.I now have over 700k+ followers.(Took me over 2yrs to reach).So just keep at it.I believe you can reach your goal.

To get 20,000 in 2 months you need to average around 670 new followers a day....

Nope.Twitter patched that glitch last year.

.. And to think i reached 17K followers by continuously providing my followers with high quality content and interacting on a daily basis. I have a question though. Say you got 200,000 followers. But anyone can figure out that the followers are not really 'genuine' so to say. I mean if you have 200,000 followers and your RT rate is ridiculously low wouldn't everyone see through your sham ? I've seen this on a lot of accounts on twitter.

In my opinion a account with 200k followers or more.Should get at least 100-1k+ retweets on each tweet.If a account with that many followers can not reach that amount of retweets.9/10 the followers are fake.

Exactly ! That's why i can't understand why people want fake followers. Is it simply for numbers' sake ?

they use fake followers to generate a fake "buzz." The idea being if you have 50 followers people are less likely to follow you than if you seem super popular and wonderful with 50,000
