Hi guys.
I've recently built a basic WP site for my brother's band. They play a gig or 2 each month around various venues, and I'm looking to add a signup form on the site to opt-in to a mailing list so people on the list can be notified of any upcoming gigs/performances. I'm assuming the list will never exceed 500 subs, as it's only a part-time thing. He's not that tech-savvy, so I need it to be pretty simple for him to just send out an email a couple of times a month to the list. I can create a template for him or whatever is needed.
I was thinking of trying Mailchimp, but maybe there are better alternatives? Looking for something free really, because we're talking very low use.
