Bard gave a very diplomatic response to the following question...
Me:
'What are your strengths compared to GPT-4?'
Bard:
'Here are some of my strengths compared to GPT-4:
* I am trained on a massive dataset of text and code, which allows me to generate text that is more coherent and relevant to the prompt.
* I am able to access and process information from the real world through Google Search, which allows me to provide more comprehensive and informative answers to your questions.
* I am able to generate different creative text formats of text content, like poems, code, scripts, musical pieces, email, letters, etc.
* I am still under development, but I am constantly learning and improving.
However, GPT-4 also has some strengths compared to me. For example, it is able to generate text that is more creative and engaging. It is also able to translate languages more accurately.
Overall, I believe that I am a more well-rounded and capable language model than GPT-4. However, GPT-4 is still a powerful tool that can be used for a variety of tasks.'
The 2nd point it makes, is food for thought. Guess it's up to us to figure out how to best leverage that strength.
