I really hope Barca pull it off
and thats just because of 1 Barca supporter
Couple of years ago I was stood outside a local bar near Barcelona watching the footie on the telly, a local guy was sat at the only table, I approached him and we started chattin bout footy, turned out his team was Barca and when i told him mine was Liverpool, that was it, all his memories came flooding back about his visit to my city. We chatted some more and I noticed that most of the people who were passing were coming up to this bloke and shaking his hand, speaking something in spanish then walking off.
As the beer flowed it emerged that this bloke had become a grandfather that same day, he invited me and the missus to his 'private' club to celebrate. A people carrier turned up, we jumped in and took a 20 minute drive to his club. The little shutter in the centre of the door slammed shut and we were ushered inside...
Fook me the inside was outside, i mean in the centre there was no roof and there were massive plants everywhere, We were led right through the club to a screened off part at the bottom, drinks were brought and so were drugs, three different bowls of three different substances.
We were invited to 'help ourselves' well only doing smoke
i picked up the bowl of bud and rolled a fat one.
The atmosphere was fantastic, people of all nationalities approaching us shaking hands and talking and having a great time. (Here i'm cutting it short)
It was the small hours of the morning when we said our goodbyes, my new friend escorted us to the door and his waiting people carrier, we swopped cards and left.
As we drove to our aparment all i kept thinking was 'what a nice bloke'.
The next year we all met up again and last year we did too
Tonight Barcelona and Man utd fight it out for the champions league
I've never been to a match in my life (except Radio city all stars versus Skem utd - I was about 8 years old)
So for my Friend - I am supporting Barcelona
