Says RBI Deputy Governor of India

Cryptocurrencies are akin to Ponzi schemes or even worse and banning these is the most sensible option for India, the Reserve Bank of India's deputy governor said on Monday.

Not going to happen. In the long run, every government will accept it.

Does anyone have any solid evidence as in an article that can justify that no government can ban crypto and how to get around it?

It is possible for short term but they will realize that it is causing loss and troubles only.
At best they can ban the crypto exchanges but that won't stop anyone from getting involved in the crypto world

Ok, but for some sellers there no other option. Also for some content creators banned from youtube. So crypto is here to stay.

Banning
Regulated
Sleeping
eating

Lets do it tomorrow

this is what indian Government doing

How will they ban it ? Transactions can be done on international exchange's or even decentralised exchanges.

Banning crypto is never the right thing for any country. It will make the people of that country stay away from crypto and be able to enjoy it's benefits.

How do you ban "air"? Next to impossible. The only vulnerable point is the exchanges that help convert back to fiat to spend. Without an exchange, any crypto holdings are very difficult to spend.

By ban they mean to prohibit the exchanges & trades.
But they won't go the ban way rather the 30% tax way.
Just like some popular porn & movie streaming sites not working on most isp's.

The Indian government clearly doesn't understand crypto. It's hilarious how oblivious central planners and the worlds leaders are to thinking that banning something like bitcoin is going to make everything "go away"

Ban Bitcoin ? No person, no authority, no government, NOT EVEN GOD can ban Bitcoin : Bitcoin will always continue to exist.
At the most some government may declare that Bitcoin is not legal tender in their country or jurisdiction, etc. But it is impossible to ban Bitcoin anywhere, IMPOSSIBLE.

Who is listening to India?

It won't be banned, that ship has sailed already

Crypto is mean for decentralize, banning or not it doesn't matter.

I'm sure it feels that way to governments who want a piece of the pie to keep everyone broke
