Hi, does anyone know the actual reason for being banned under "integrity"

Integrity covers quite a bit of scenarios so it's one or a combination of using automation tools with an inadequate setup, suspicious account activity (login and use), some form of content violation, impersonation or misrepresentation, or plain ol' user reports. Enough of those does that.
If you feel like this doesn't apply to you and you have the required information to verify your IG identity, you should be able to appeal the ban with IG's support team.

It usually means they think you broke community guidelines—like using fake info, spammy behavior, or trying to game the system. But sometimes it’s just Insta being Insta.

pretty general. Did they give you any more detailed notice?

From what we noticed with over 500 suspensions with some of the accounts we used on API, Integrity means that they noticed that you either posted something that goes against their guide lines; For example, AI face-swaps. Another reason could be that you are spam commenting.

We don't allow people on Instagram to pretend to be a business or speak for them without permission.
Examples of things we don't allow

Creating an account that looks like it belongs to a business.

Using a business’s logo or brand assets to deceive people.

Creating and posting content that pretends to speak for a business.

What was your account about? Need more details

“Integrity” bans usually mean you broke trust rules—like using fake info, misleading content, or bots. Best bet: appeal and ask for details.

all of my child were business accounts

- i was sending dms to new followers to message my mother on all accounts
- i was also cold messaging users but not a message to send my mother a message, it was just promotion related to none followers

just wondering if its one of those issues

most places ban for breach of TOS.

I don't understand what you mean, can you be more specific about your case?

Yep, that’s pretty much it! Insta flags stuff fast even by mistake. Could be spammy actions, fake details, or just their system glitching. Best bet: appeal the decision and keep it chill with activity for now.

I get this message often too, could it be related even though i don't understand what it even means as i dont login via multiple devices:

You couldn't create multiple sessions

Why this happened

The account, or activity on it, may try to gather sensitive information or share malicious software.

This goes against our Community Standards on cybersecurity.

That message likely triggered the ban. Even if you're not on multiple devices, it could be a false flag from VPNs, extensions, or unusual logins. Best to appeal and explain your setup.

doesn't give me a chance, it asks me to upload a selfie then perma bans me

Yeah, some platforms force a selfie check and then ban you permanently if it doesn’t pass. It’s rough because you don’t get a real chance to explain. Unfortunately, if their system flags you this way, it’s almost impossible to reverse without direct support—usually they don’t respond much. If you can, try reaching out via official support channels or help forums outside the usual appeal process.

Happened to me too a while back. I think it was from using too many accounts on one device or some flagged content. Meta’s “integrity” reason is super vague tbh.
