I've been selling t-shirts and apparel on FB for over 4 years. Mainly Pro-America, Pro-Gun Rights type of stuff. I've had no problems for over 4 years. I wake up one morning and facebook has completely disabled my business manager and even my personal facebook account. I think they are saying my products do not meet community standard guidelines. Lost all my fan pages, some had over 170k followers and a TON of LLA audiences. I relied solely on FB for my income. I've sent in 3 appeals with not even an e-mail back from them. What would you guys do in this situation? Do you think any other social media platform / paid advertising on any other social media would give me the same results?

They're tightening the noose on weapons. Sad but it looks like you'll need to look for alternatives

Did you try to chat with them? It works out well if you do at times.

You should seek paid support of experts managing huge fb ad campaigns. They might help you in recovering your previous account. Not sure if anyone is providing such service here but you might want to try out talking to some by posting on haf section. Just my 2 cents.

The only powerful platform apart from facebook ads is google adwords though but functions in much different way. You could try pinterest ads though, it works really well for selling products.

It seems you can only chat with them when you are logged into an account. I can't login so there is not chat option. Figures.

Yes that's correct, I should have noticed that earlier about your personal account getting disabled too. Some of the big agency owners or fb ads specialists should definitely have a solution for the situation.

Sad that it is so, gun culture in America is being highly frowned upon.

The negative stigma branches out like a cancer..

Guns and social media, will most likely be censored soon :(

I just found out some new information which may be useful on how to solve this situation. I had two accounts, one was my personal account that I used for personal stuff and I had a second account that I used for just IM/Advertising. When business managers came out I created one on the fake account. I was spending a ton of money on the fake account, they always got paid and it was my main account for business ventures. I spent about $500k with facebook with that account. They disabled it, saying it was fake after a few years because it was a made up name on the profile. Not on the billing or anything. I wasn't trying to scam them, I was just trying to keep business and personal separate with two accounts. I contacted them and said I needed that account and all the fan pages to continue to do business with them, so they merged it into my personal account and I created an additional business manager on my personal account. Everything was fine for the next 2 years until this. Now somehow my personal account is the one that has been deactivated and the fake account has been reactivated but I cannot add a payment method or anything. Does this make any sense? Could it be a facebook flunky making a mistake and reactivated the fake account by accident instead of my personal account? This all happened after I got a suspicious login activity on my personal account, I sent them my ID and all that jazz.

Well they've been tightening up since cambridge scandal. They are pretty much going to come down hard on anything even slightly political

That is a problem with businesses on the Internet generally. The web constantly changes, and if you work through one website only, then you are at big risk. Every website can easily disappear or change the purpose, and you lose clients with it. The best thing is to find and communicate with clients directly, without any intermediary website if possible.

Normally for your niche, I'd say you should try Instagram and I feel like IG would usually work well this. BUT, I have to say I whole-heartedly agree with this:

They're tightening the noose on weapons. Sad but it looks like you'll need to look for alternatives

You honestly might wanna consider changing your niche. And if you get your FB account back, well bully for you that's awesome. But yeah man, that niche might be difficult to avoid bans and whatnot in todays world.

Facebook is a left leaning organization very restrictive on anything related to do with right wing views (pro guns, Trump, police, etc.). There have been several studies and admissions from Facebook staffers about this. You were likely caught up in another round of censorship.

Till Pro-America that was on the line but with Pro-Gun Rights you have crossed the line. You was only relying on Facebook and that was a big mistake. Well, if you are up again then try IG with Jarvee. That's the hotcake this time. Make 20-30 accounts initially and scale them up, use the traffic with OGads affilliate.

Does IG work the same as FB with having multiple accounts? Will they be shut down if you log in to all of them with the same computer or do you need proxies and such?

There are 3 things involved majorly - IG, BlueStack and Jarvee. With Bluestack, you can create 3-4 IDs and run them without any big issue (I hope so, if done with care). Then change your IP and again create accounts.

Jarvee comes into the play after account creation. It has almost everything but here you will need proxies (better to assign one proxy for each account here for utmost care).

Do you think if I created a new personal account with all of my same details and made a new business manager I would just get banned again?

This really really sucks. I hope you get this sorted OP

Sorry to hear that, what a shitty situation.

A similar thing happened to me (not with fb) and I just had to find other income streams.

So much for USA being the land of the free...

Hope you bounce back :)

You made a big mistake, you rely on only FB, social media is not something you can trust if you are a person not a company. They don’t talk to you, they just ban you. When you do real business you need to have your brand on many different social media and an official website. In case you get banned from one of them, you still have the others and your website working fine. Your fan will hate FB for what they done, your business is intact. Your website running fine. But now you learn the lesson in a hard way.
