Banned keywords

i wanted to ask are certain keywords banned on google adwrods. Some guy ik was saying any crypto related keywords or any bank related keywords get ur account and campaign suspended.
for e.g HSBC keyword instantly bans ur campaign and anything like bitcoin also does the same.

can anyone tell me if this is true?

There's no such thing as banned keywords. There are products and services that are not allowed but you can still bid on those keywords, the landing page just can't promote them.

In Google Ads, cryptocurrency services are now banned since about a year ago. You can bid on the keyword "bitcoin" for instance if it serves your purpose (a book about the history of Bitcoin for example), you just can't be selling bitcoins.
