banned from logging into any account

when I attempt to login to any instagram account from my phone it says 'this account has been disabled for violating our legal terms'
- wondering whether it's just my device that's been banned or the actual accounts?
does anyone know whether this is likely to be permanent or just for a set period?

It happened to me 2 days ago and it's because you have followed too many people (probably more than 60 per hour) or you have used an app

I don't know for sure but IG has a very strict policy. Seems like a perm ban for the account. Not sure what they do with the device though.

I can login to the accounts using bluestacks, I think it's a device ban - I just expected the login error message to be more specific but I can understand why they wouldn't just state 'this device is banned'.

this has happened me and i know others who it has also happened to and these people have multiple, really nice accounts that dont mass follow at all and dont even have a bot. They do post shoutouts alot though. I think any activity that may seem automated can make this happen.

May be your have created more accounts on that IP thats why this problem is being happened.

Yeah same happened to me about 5 months ago. Got my iphone banned from ig. Still cant find a way to change the iphones UDID(Device ID) Anyone know how to fix it on iphone?

try resetting/factory resetting it and report if it helped. if not, the only solution might be to jailbreak your phone and use a cydia tool to change it.
