Banned from BHW notice suggestion

This might be a stupid suggestion because we have our own responsibility to watch out for what we do and read the "Agreement and Rights" so we know what rights we have to post on this forum.

I been reading some post and I also go through and read some of the replies by the members also. I notice some of the replies on the very bottom will tell us if this member was banned from BHW.

I would like to give a suggestion also state the reason to why or what the member got banned for. Not that I care specifically for that person why he got banned, but it be nice to show all the members why, so we have in mind what are the most common bans. So a lot of members here will repeatedly get reminded what is wrong or right even though we should be old enough to watch out for our own actions.

Just something that came into my mind because I repeatedly see a lot of members getting banned and I'm wondering what's going on? I would never purposely get myself banned from anywhere. If I did it would be an accident. I hope I don't cause any accidents.

Sometimes a member will be banned for using a very effective method that is
never-the-less against our Terms of Service. We don't wish to give our other
members "ideas"in cases like that. There are also other reasons as well.

It is at the discretion of the Moderator. I will sometimes state why a member
was banned but not always. If I feel that giving the reason for the ban needs
to be stated as a way of clarifying the matter, I will do so.

this is like 4-5th time i have seen this question raised , wiz you should make a sticky one about it .

Thats because of the typical curiosity of people to know why the other guys ass was busted :-D
 
Stops conflict and people chipping in with their thoughts. We are looking into this though.

I second the sticky about this though, I think it resolves more than if we could see what this guy and this guy was banned for. Although, maybe if GodOfSeo's profile said "GodOfPedophilia" instead, I think that would be a clear enough message of what is going on.
 
I would like to see a reason being stated on every post beneath the banned members as well. As being a somewhat new member and seeing a bunch of old members with high post count getting banned, I sometimes get curious as to why.

If you are that curious just have a look through the banned members previous posts, there is very often a clue as to why they were banned. If you can't find a clue then it is probably something that shouldn't be public knowledge for reasons like wiz mentioned above.
