Banned by the banned

I was given an infraction by a mod who no longer mods these forums. Banned by the banned. How ironic.. I wish they'd remove it so i can have my full account rights..

there is huge difference in infraction and ban.
i have 4 infractions.

Were you "banned" without a reason?

I would like to mention that being banned and getting infraction are different things

Infraction is in another words a warning either form the admin, or forum moderator, if you are breaking any rule
Being banned means you got a particular number of warning but repeated your mistakes inspite of the warnings so your id was blocked.

If you have got an infraction from any mod you can check the same under the infraction tab in your profile section - infractions generally has a time limit and would get removed automatically when elapsed however if it is a permanent infraction then you would need to contact the site admin or the forum mod and let him know with proof that there was a mistake for the infraction that you got, and then it would be totally on the decision and the proofs you give to the mod that whether he wants to reverse the infraction or not.

Just contact another mod and try to get it removed

Thanks.. it is in fact a permanent infraction for "advertising in the signature" which everyone does in one way or another anyway. There are no real limits on how much promotional language is supposed to be used in the signature.. If a mod can look over this and possibly remove it and make the guidelines more clear, i'd appreciate it lots!

You know that Mods can change name color too ?

And if he would be banned he wouldnt be able to get you ban at first place

Since permanent infractions are no longer given, I have removed the warning which looked to of been given by someone with no name anyway. You can advertise in your signature if you are a donor or Jr VIP, normal members do not have this privilege.
