Is there a definitive way to tell if a site has been banned from reddit? I even had a friend submit an article from my site through his account, and i have seen 0 traffic from reddit. It's very odd.

Before an article gets popular, it won't provide too much traffic. I've had articles that didn't get "hot" until 12+ hours after I posted them. Before they got big, I got maybe 0-10 hits. When they started to get big, the traffic came in pretty slowly, maybe 200-300 hits. After they peaked, I was getting a few thousand ever 30 minutes.

The Digg effect is far more powerful.

Create better, more original content? Don't post MFA sites? I don' t know what you're posting, so I can't tell you what I think you should do.

If you want to be discrete about it, feel free to PM me any links and I'll let you know what I think.
