Yes - and it’s gradually becoming a reality:
But at this pace, banks directly supporting BTC accounts could be a reality within the next few years.
- USA: JPMorgan, BNY Mellon, and others are testing BTC custody and trading services.
- Europe: Germany leads — Deutsche Bank and Sparkassen plan to support crypto by 2026.
- Asia: DBS Bank (Singapore), SBI (Japan) already offer crypto-related services.
- Neobanks: Revolut, Xapo, Cash App already allow BTC deposits and withdrawals.
But at this pace, banks directly supporting BTC accounts could be a reality within the next few years.
