Do lenders in the US typically verify the numbers in a bank statement with the borrower's bank before issuing a business loan? Is the bank legally permitted to disclose that information?

lol, are you asking if you can just lie to get a loan? I think that is fraud, there may be consequences for doing such a thing.

Atleast in my country they verify the credit scores ( and much more in case of a secured loan). Don't try to fake something here. You can be in jail for this. It's not a fb account that you are trying to restore with a fake doc or something.

Yup, they definitely do. This is not a good idea, folks. :D

Yes they do verify all the numbers

Bank statements are tricky now there is a lot of software to verify deposits from other banks. If you get caught I doubt anything would happen they would probably just deny you.

A really good technique is bank account seasoning, but you need a rich friend or two and a relationship built on trust

Basically person would make deposits to your account. They would sit there three months before you apply for the loan or longer whatever you feel underwriters want to see.

Once you get the loan wire the money back
