Ban users who post threads, requiring a PM

Every day I see new threads from users with less than 50 posts, who post threads offering something, and to get what he offers, the OP asks a PM or a post in his thread or even both.
This has to stop, this is not hack forums or any other lame forum.

So I suggest banning these users, closing their threads, and creating a new rule, disallowing such threads. They really have nothing to offer to this community.

That's irrational. And OP, simmer down a bit. Don't be so angry. I completely understand your point but according to me banning every time may not be the best option.

I Agree with idea of Making a rule to stop asking OP's for PM's on giveaways and territorials but i have seen few of them Sharing a good method and to get an Affiliate hide the link which i think is quite ok

If you will put restriction of 50 Posts we will see more of less quality posts just to complete numbers

Simple solution, OP:

Click "report post," type "rule 3.6 solicitation" in the reason box, let those with the banhammer decide.

Staff remove these as they are reported, or as we notice them.

Users posting them get infractions, and after three of these are banned.

Of course there are pros and cons for having a new member, if the post count needed to be 50up in order for them to make a thread but there are also new comers we might say new but could be legitimate IM'ers that the forum could benefit or likewise. We could never know if we don't try and/or see.

I agree with thejake. Just report the post, in that why we can really contribute to the forum and management without wanting some thanks and +rep. Let those have the banhammer be the investigator and be the judge.
