How To Get Your Suspended GBP Reinstated
Here's an honest advice to all those that don't know why it takes so long to get their business profile unsuspended.
When you're facing a suspension: Hire a local SEO expert to get it back if you're not 100% sure about the process. It's not only about ticking the right boxes, uploading a few documents and that's it. Due to the rising number of fake profile suspensions Google needs to be 100% sure your business is legit.
I've reinstated quite a lot of business profiles in the last months/years. Here's what you need to do BEFORE you submit the reinstatement request:
Be sure your profile follows Google's guidelines. (I didn't intend to advertise this here, but my upcoming local SEO checklist includes an error checklist to be sure you've done everything right)
Be sure your business information is consistent across the web. name, address, phone, niche/category...
Upload documents: take a picture of the original copy of your business doc while holding it in your hands + upload the same doc as pdf file - this makes it harder to fake and a Google employee will appreciate the extra effort. Be sure to upload photos of your storefront, your verification home address. Possible other docs to upload: certificate of incorporation, proof of address, owner, shareholder; an invoice including your business address, a photo of yourself standing in front of the business etc.
Again, whenever you face a suspension, be sure you know what you're doing and you don't let your impatience take over.
