Ban any discussion about Covid-19?

I was just wondering what people think about putting Covid-19 posts irrespective of if they are pro vaccine or against it, no matter the sub-content of the thread should we ban Covid-19 threads. This is an SEO and online marketing forum after all. People can argue that they are in the lounge, but I can't talk about politics in the lounge or religion so why not this? I mean if politics is not allowed to be discussed then surely this falls under the same thing because sadly it has been politicized so much.

I'm not saying people should be reprimanded, just threads of this nature get taken down and the OP reminded that threads of that nature are not permitted. Is it really helping the forum? I'm certainly not here to digest content about Covid-19 nor would I search for any other medical issue. Whatever your stance is on this issue I just think the forum would be a better place without it. It's not as if this would be hard to implement. Anyone could moderate covid posts regardless of their personal beliefs. I'm not trying to add to the mods workload, just trying to make the forum a better place.....In my opinion. What is your opinion?

Because honestly I could not give a fuck if you are vaccinated or not, there is no way all 7.5 billion people are going to get vaccinated, not even close so quiet frankly the chips are going to fall how they will, I can't do fuck all about it. I could not care less either way, were all going to die at some point. but this incessant blah blah blah about Covid-19 is fucking annoying. It honestly does not matter what side you are on... Would you prefer it if we stuck to productive posts?

Anyway be nice to each other in the comments. save the hate for another thread regardless of your views, this is just a suggestion thread.

There have been a ton of threads just like yours, and the answer will be the same.

COVID is viral, so should be only under the "social media" section in my opinion.

If you read the post, It’s not about silencing individual opinions.

It is about banning the topic as a whole.

Politics and religions are banned because they are very divisive topics.

Covid is also a very divisive topic.

So, to me, what OP is proposing is very logical.

We have threads, and posts on some other random life issues, should they be banned as well?
I guess everyone is tired about Covid, we just have to endure and wait it out.

of course it is political because many people are against vaccine hesitant people here... treating them as antivaxers all the time, it's tiring... this antivaxer term should be banned, it is ruining any chance to have a normal discussion between people...

I am not sure we should ban the discussions, first I would say no but we should ban the political aspect of it. Calling "antivaxers" is becoming like calling people nazis or ku klux klan, it's not good to treat people like that and use political terms in this forum. This would be important to be remembered yes.

I agree, COVID should remain strictly covid only talk.
All politics should be left out of it, yet somehow, it always makes it way in.
People starts to be offensive to each other cuz their views are different, or they start forcing their own views on each other.
I don't mind if you are against covid vaccines, nor do I judge if you are for it.
Everyone's situation is different, and we should all learn to respect it.
If you can't have a discussion without respecting another person's views, don't have it.

I highly doubt this suggestion would ever pass, since this is probably the 10th time this has been brought up and I'm either for or against it.

Yes I did. When they made a new section they removed it from all current jr execs, and then the new section was done by suggesting new people recently. I have not been active on the forum for a long time. I have two projects taking all my time, so no wonder I am in the shadows There are people far more entitled to that status than me anyway so I'm happy the new system is working out for everyone. It's only fair that people who have the time to dedicate to progressing the forum get that title anyway. I fear I don't have the time nor the want to share some of the methods I have at the moment because I have learned my lesson about doing that lol.

And to the others, I'm sorry this suggestion has been made a lot recently, only goes to show how much I have not been on the forum recently. I do have a method I am not using anymore that is still very fruitful, maybe I'll try and put it up this week.

Nothing to apologize for, it just shows, how much it takes a toll on everyone when covid discussions turns hostile
