They both serve for achieving better organic ranking, that's the same part about the, but White Hat SEO includes ranking methods that are legit, approve by algorithms, and that are often slower. On the other hand, with Black Hat SEO, you can use some other methods as well that aim to trick algorithms in some way and gets you a shortcut to success. This tactic can be risky so it's not recommendable for beginners, it's more for experienced marketers.
