BAD NEWS instagram!

BAD NEWS? ARE YOU F*****N KIDDING ME?
I was searching for this yesterday when ads would be available. If ads become available to everyone. We could use this. This is so easy. You post an cool photo so people want to go to your website because of that. They just easily click the 'learn more' button. We don't need to buy blackhat bots to gain traffic for white hat ideas. This will make it easier for us! People don't have to go to our bio and click the link. Wait till their browser opens and then do something on our website.
they click the button and they are on our website.

Imagine how you could invest a little money and gain easy mobile traffic to your white hat sites. How easy affiliate marketing on instagram could be. How easy you could get traffic. This is even better than FB ads. Because if the post is good in your instagram feed. Nobody will skip the photo

You're giving out too much information bro.

Stop outing.

They're gonna destroy organic reach like FB did.

Are they really?

How can you decipher a personal instagram account and an anon one? There aren't pages like Facebook has and stuff. That doesn't make any sense given Instagram's foundation.

Instagram ads are probably going to be really expensive, I don't see this becoming nearly as efficient as posting through large accounts to get app downloads or something. It's probably going to be about like Twitter ads, in other words, meaningless for us.

It will be interesting to see if this limits organic reach like it did on Facebook or is just an expensive way to show images to non-followers.

Of course it's gonna limit organic reach. They'll mention the same excuse Facebook did (they're the same company) : that too many ads and posts are competing for space so they gotta limit reach.....same thing all over again.

Next will be WhatsApp. You'll get ads like it's on Skype now.

I doubt it - they make too much money out of stickers right now, especially in the Asian market. No point annoying users with ads on a freemium model like that

Bad news? So, if FB will disable the ads tomorrow, it will mean good news for you?
Btw, I'm happy, now they will be concentred on the new ads system, they won't have time for the spammers :D

I'm not a spammer. ;)

This is great news for those who "know" how to make money money with the ad system, you can make money without it and you can make money with it. Besides, already have a few killer ideas in mind that will make bank on this! :)

It's too early to comment on the new system, anyone can change their rules at any time. We are the one small webmasters who will face from these biggest liars.

Interesting, hopefully the BHW forum will come up with new methods as always haha. Good and bad to this.

I'm fine with this. I've strayed away from most bot methods and have been trying to perfect media buying. I much rather enjoy my $0.02-0.05 cents per click and get great conversions.

Could it maybe possibly affect the shoutout services in any way? Like people not interested in shoutouts anymore, and purchasing ads instead.

It will surely be have some negative effects, and positive ones of course.

I don't see this as a bad thing ..
platforms change and so you have to adapt to stay on top and often times when you have to adapt to something new
things turn out better than they used to ..

If you are not ready to adapt then by all means leave :) 1 less competition down.

Big or small brands will definitely choose to pay IG for exposure with their ads than buying shoutouts from competitors. It was actually a matter of time! We need to stay 2 steps ahead of the curve as usual.

Well help me understand the people with big accounts that are complaining.

Lets say you have 50k followers or more. If you post an image, does it mean that your followers will no longer see what you post in their feeds or what is the big complaint about it?

Limited reach is what gets to me. Pay for ads only to reach a small audience, or worse yet, reach people on the other side of the world who have absolutely no interest in what my ad is about. For all the "targeting" they walk through on FB you wind up with people who don't give a rats' a$$ about your page. Then the minute you stop paying for ads all the 'new followers/likers' start to fall off.
